Hearing aids on the private market come in many styles to suit your needs; from custom invisible in the canal, to custom in the ear, discrete receiver in the canal or even hearing aids that look like wireless ear buds!
Connectivity and rechargeability
Another fantastic feature of the latest hearing aid technology is Bluetooth connectivity. This can enable you to directly stream audio and take handsfree phone calls from your smart phone to your hearing aids, without an intermediate device. The Bluetooth connection also pairs with smartphone apps meaning you can control your hearing aid from your phone as well as have them remotely fine tuned over the internet.
Being able to recharge your hearing aids has been a real gamechanger. No longer do you have to purchase or handle fiddley batteries. Some models also have a portable charging case, meaning you can charge your hearing aids on the move without needing to plug them in.

Hearing aids on their own are designed for conversational situations. There may be times when listening to music or the TV when you would like to make things even easier. Therefore, we offer a 14 day trial that will allow you plenty of time to acclimatise to your new hearing aids in situations that are important to you.
In line with your personalised management plan, we will review your progress and fine tune the hearing aids and discuss further auditory training as required.
